When you get the disc, make sure to go through all of the supplemental features. The in-depth analysis Mr. Laugier provides is as fascinating as the actual picture.

does anyone have this on blu. i bought it on dvd months ago before i had a blu ray player,but bizarrley i only watched it last night and was absoloutely blown away by it,its a tough watch but absoloutely amazing does ny one know the pq aq of the blu and possibly if it has more extras thanks

Amazing movie....

Unfortunately we are stuck with the DVD here in the U.S and the blu is region locked..

Waiting patiently for a release on Blu in the states..

Wow! I should buy a second copy just to support what may be the best horror movie I've seen in 10 years!

I've recommended this to everyone I know, and even though not everyone is too pleased with me afterwards, they all agree that this movie shook the hell out of them!

I would pick it up in a heartbeat if it was region-free. There is no chance we see a U.S. BD.

You're right a film like that would probably never get a blu release in North America

PS Another reason why a Region-Free player is a must!!

Yes, I snagged this and Eden Lake along with the (now corrected) UK release of Let the Right One In...oh, and a copy of Belle de jour. Only problem is now my wallet is in need of CPR due to the status of the US Dollar!

If you take the shock factor out of it there is not a lot to shout about. But believe me any newcomers to this movie should take my word, its shocking.. If you liked to be shocked, get this movie.

Absolutely shocking.. In fact if I did the review for it I would just give it 4.5/5 and write "its shocking" and leave it at that.

Mind you I watched it completely blind with someones vote of confidence. I thought I was gonna watch something about religion.

I just watched it again to refresh my memory. I didn't watch it alone this time (first time I watched it alone). I must say the impact is lessoned by watching with others. I can imagine why this doesn't get a US release. The first 30 minutes would be scarier for those that live in countries where guns are available to buy.

I had to settle for the Dvd edition here and I was totally shocked by it, its 2 movies in one.

If its your first time viewing this be prepare.
