Ever heard the phrase "the sum is greater than the individual parts"
Aside from that, I really don't care about the 360, its graphics, its memory or anything else. I'm buying a PlayStation3 for very specific reasons, and nothing anyone can say will persuade me to change my mind. For me, this is more than being about games. It's about being a true, stand alone multimedia convergent device, something the 360 simply isn't. And that's why I have no interest in it. I want the future, not a halfway house between old and new. PlayStation3 is barely 3 months old and it has the xboys rattled! Just wait till Sony rolls out its online movie and tv service - with exclusive content that only they, as a media company, can supply. MS can do deals, but they don't have any content of their own. Beyond that you've got the eventual ability of the PSP to access your PS3's content online, from anywhere in the world! And it's not much of a stretch to think that a camera enabled PSP could video chat to a camera enabled PS3... The Xbox360 is a games console with a few extras. That just isn't enough. |

now notice this:
The polygon performance of the Xbox 360 is as high as 500 million triangles per second, which means the Xbox 360 can process aproximately 1.2 billion vertices per second. In comparison, the GeForce 6800 Ultra can process 600 million vertices per second. Want more numbers? The Xbox 360 has a pixel fillrate of 16 gigasamples per second using 4X multisampling anti-aliasing (MSAA) and a shader performance of 48 billion shader operations per second. http://features.teamxbox.com/xbox/11...-Dissected/p6/ so this puts the xbox360 at 1.2 billion vertices per second about as much as 2 GeForce 6800 ultra's... so than its a good thing: the playstation 3 has this.... Grin ![]() xbox360 = to 2 (6800 ultras) playstation 3= more powerfull than 2 ( 6800 ultras) ![]() |
