This is a possible blind buy purchase for me. I didn't see it in the theater, but I do want to see it. It'll be a rental at the very least. It looks enjoyable if you like this kind of a movie.

Whip It gets a weird green case? Hmmmm...yes it does and to be honest it doesn't suit it. I could totally understand "The Incredible Hulk" getting one but Whip It?

If that is indeed the actual case, I don't like it much. Not because it's green, because I get that they did that to match her uniform, but they didn't really need to list so much of the cast. Not a big deal in the end though because I'm buying it regardless.

Yes, that seems to be official BD cover.

I understand about the green matching her uniform and all, but its really not something in big need of a Green Blu-ray cover. I find it unnecessary.

Was this film any good? All the Drew Barrymore kissing Ellen Page was all the publicity I heard and that it was Barrymore's first film directing. Any good?

Anyone got this?

I saw the film in theaters & I loved it. I'm not really digging the higher price tag for this title though, $25.99 I think we can do better. I'm just spoiled to the $19.99 and below price tags now

Anyway I too agree this needs a better price. I love this movie! but $24 right now, no thanks.

Blind bought it from Amazon, partly due to the 82% rating received on RT, and that I like Barrymore and Page. Should arrive at my house sometime tonight via UPS.

I personally thought this film looked dumb, BUT, I saw it today at BN and I think it's cool that the case is green instead of a typical blue blu ray case.

i don't like Page. something about her acting... ulg, i don't know, it makes me want to hit a cat.

partly due to i knew someone who looked like her.

i heard it's a good movie; my friend wanted me to watch it. like Juno, i declined.

Ok so I saw a trailer for Whip It and thought it looked kinda cool. So today I picked up Zombieland and Whip It. Watched Whip It and it was really good. Quite humorous and Ellen Page is kinda cute. That and I guess I have thing for Roller Derby Girls in general even though they can kick my ass. But it is a good movie. Anyone else check it out?
