Surprised this isn't mentioned anywhere. Not had a look at the disc yet but here's the cover.

Nice to see AB have remove the ridiculous Hollywood porn sounding Starz from their packaging.

I was hoping to get this in the mail today (had it on pre-order since May), but no such luck. Let's hope for tomorrow.

And the UK cover is WAY cooler than the crappy US disc. And it's the main reason I didn't buy the US disc. This UK version is worth the wait, to get the original cover art.

Hellraiser looks really good on Blu-ray. But am I going crazy? Is this a US dubbed version? I don't remember everyone having an american accent when I last watched it?

Both discs are the same. Even the audio and subtitle options.

Cool thanks, my only concern was that the US release had two discs, 1 blu-ray and a additional dvd for the extra's, while from what i can understand the UK release is the single Blu-Ray which has the movie and extra's on it. I thought that perhaps there would have been a compromise in quality or sound but glad to hear that the UK and US are the same.

Cheers

it's always been dubbed unfortunately. Apparently the original voice track as shot is long lost

I'd be curious to know that too. I know that the AB US release the only scene that was restored to it's original 'unrated' form was the hammer to the forehead scene - other than that no other previousily deleted footage was reinstated.

Yeah, same disc I believe.

I still have mine (as pictured above) for sale/trade if anyone wants it. £10 would be good + any shipping outside the UK.

Price has been up and down like a hoe's knickers ever since licensing moved away from Anchor Bay/Starz.

There's one there right now on Amazon <£10. I've seen them out and about too in al sorts of strange shops -obviously off-loading end of line stock.

I can't remember the new lecensee but I'm sure I have a link somewhere.
