I liked 5(inferno) and thought that Hell Seeker(6) and Deader(7) were watchable

1 and 2 are terrific, 3 is ok, 4 not so much... and 8... horrible.

I really liked 1 through 4 with Bloodline being my favorite, but I thought that Inferno was pretty good too. I haven't watched any of the other ones beyond Inferno.

Hmm if the masters are good and the sound is good and the price is not abusive I might get a box set with the whole Hellraiser series

My thoughts exactly. 4 onwards were just......terrible. I partially blame rating boards as it seemed to lose blood and chains and less and less of pinhead.

Hopefully the remake of hellraiser in 2009 is going to be good and not bad.

It should have a special edition that comes with a bloody mattress.

Hellraiser I is getting broadcast on HDNet on the 30th and 31st of October - I'm sure it's already been aired on MonstersHD.

I doubt a box set will ever materialize. One and Two are released by Anchor Bay. Three is released by Paramount and the rest are from Dimension Films (Disney). But maybe the last one is Weinstein Dimension, not sure about that though. Kind of tough when you have several different companies with different video rights to the individual movies.

I'd take the first 2 movies. The rest are crap. Just my opinion.

Wow you can really see a difference in opinions here... Bloodline and Inferno were my favorites. The rest are good. The one that sucked was the one with Kari Wuhrer. Her looks were the best thing about the movie.

Why AB can't release II along with I on the 21st of April is beyond me.
