Some help needed for a Canadian Log Cabin Holiday please ?!

Hi all ! Probably a bit of a strange request, but I figured out of all the forums I belong to this is the best place for some helpful answers !

We're looking at Canada as our next location for a holiday, and as we've never been before are completely uneducated as to what or where to look for. We really are after an idyllic self-catering large Log Cabin, on the edge of a lake, with beautiful views, and modern ammenities (we're right fussy gits I'm afraid lol !)

Google doesn't throw up many suggestions, neither do our local Travel Agents ! So......

I was wondering if any Canadians here, or anyone that has visited Canada on a similar premise would have any good recommendations or suggestions on a great place to stay ?

I hope this gives a sort of idea of the type of accomodation we're after and the sort of location ? The website that these pics came from offer lovely cabins, but they are all on top of each other !

Does anywhere exist in Canada that is like this as a 5 star holiday letting, yet is not so close to it's neighbours where the feeling of being rural is ruined ?

All suggestions overly welcome, as it would make a few dreams come true for our family.
