Yule Log or Holiday Fire? - Blu-ray Forum

Okay, I'll admit it: I've wanted a holiday-music Virtual Fireplace on Blu-ray ever since I got the HDTV.

The early ones last year were a bit ragged around the edges (and just upgraded DVD re-releases)--But now we've got two titles this season, one from a no-name company, and one from semi-name Vivendi...
Don't suppose anyone's watched one or the other yet? "Holiday" looks cheap, but the review site hasn't weighed in on it yet, while "Yule" looks respectably budgeted, but reviewers said the music was too contemporary.

...Any word of advice?

For the purpose you want it for I don't think either one will make a difference unless pic quality is just horrible. It might sound dumb but see what each has as a soundtrack. Is it just the fire place noise or music with it as well. Also last year there was a theard about one of the yule log blu-rays. You might see if you cxan find that through a search.

Theres Christmas Fireplace, Christmas Memories, Yule Log. and a few more actually...

I saw non-seasonal titles, with titles like Fireplace and Mountains, at Best Buy tonight. If anyone has a review of these or the above holiday titles, I'd like to read them too. I picked up Marine Aquarium but wasn't that impressed.
