Vizio VBR100 Firmware Update - Blu-ray Forum

I looked on the "Firmware" subsection of the site and didn't see this listed.

I have a VBR100 as a third unit in our bedroom and encountered audio problems with Zombieland. Went to the Vizio site and found there are two separate Firmware updates, depending upon what your Serial Number is:

then click the "SUPPORT" tab for the firmware update section.

Were you ever actually able to USE that upgrade? Mine still wants to stick at loader rev 403, which isn't even close to where it should be.

I think I finally got an answer to the firmware update problem. The CD-R that they are telling you to load the ISO file on won't read in the player for some reason. You have to call Visio at 877.698.4946 (877 MY VIZIO) and request a cd that is already preloaded with the firmware on it. Takes about 3-5 days to arrive by UPS.
