Sony's Big Annoucement??? - Blu-ray Forum

What do you guys think this "Big Bang" announcement is all about...if there really is an announcement?

I believe it could be one or all of the following...

1. $399 PS3
2. Cheaper Blu-Ray player
3. Maybe a dual format Movie Studio is switching to only Blu
4. Maybe Paramount realized the mistake they made and will release Transformers on Blu(Just me wishing)

If there really is an announcent, it has to be about the PS3. Christmas season is almost here. PS3 and Xbox 360 are still big competing items.

I can see a lower price for BD players along with it. They don't want to loose any foot hold because HD DVD has gotten really cheap.

Ugh, if there is a future version of myself reading this thread, please come back in time to the office and just give me the Spider Man Trilogy, Cars, Nemo, Incredibles, etc...AND Transformers on BD.

I'll pay you. I mean, I'll pay me. I mean.... just bring it, or send someone!
