Exclamation An ignorant question about the Blu-Ray rebate

I am sitting here with the form trying to decide which movies to choose.

Here is my quandry:
It is not now and has never been important for me to have a library of discs that I own. It wasn't vital to me with SD-DVD and strangely enough it isn't now. Weird, huh?

Please help me choose the movies that have the best PQ/AQ; I need a few movies to show off my new player (and HDTV) with!

These are my choices:

1. The Prestige or POTC: Black Pearl.

2. Swordfish, Superman or Full Metal Jacket.

3. Probably going with American Psycho unless someone tells me the transfer was poor. The other movies are of little interest to me, regardless of quality.

4 The Patriot, S.W.A.T. or Ultraviolet.

5. Chain Reaction, Hart's War, Omen 666, The Last Waltz, Flight of the Phoenix or Species.

Again: I am looking for the movies with the best PQ/AQ...this is not a request for your humble opinion on which movie is your "favorite".

Bonus info: I do plan on buying Rat, Cars and a few other assorted titles in the near future.

Thanks in advance from a new member that is excited to be a part of your forum!!!

for additional help, you can also look at the "Now available" movies on the left side of the home page and check out the reviews on each of these as well..as far as PQ / AQ, If you click on the movie it will give you a review. check'em out and see how the reviews were on each of them. I look at those a lot as well.

1. Pirates and The Prestige are both excellent.
2. Full Metal Jacket, the BD is the best version to date that I've seen of this movie not to mention also Kubrick rules.
3. Haven't seen American Psycho on blu-ray but the DVD was good.
4. The Patriot, it's also an extended cut.
5. Chain Reaction, also has an excellent DTS track.
