can powerdvd play without sound? - Blu-ray Forum

because the sound is lagging my pc.

and i'm not talking about just pressing the mute because the sound files still use up pc usage as much.

Your video card may not be powerful enough and the large video play could be slowing down your pc, causing the audio to sound like it's skipping.

Why would you settle for watching a movie without sound in the first place? Sound is a big part of movies!

Anyway, you could try muting the sound in the playback program. That might fix it.

Not really.
Even if you were able to play the main file of the BD, sound is part of what is being read.
