Default Best Dario Argento Film?


Dario Argento is simply my favorite film director. To those who don't know him, he is an Italian film director, specializing in horror and giallo (Italian murder mystery) films. His movies are brilliant, and are known for being extremely violent and bloody (Tenebre was originally banned as a video nasty). He became well-known for producing George Romero's 1978 horror film 'Dawn of the Dead'.

Definitely 'Suspiria' for me. His magnum opus, and one of the greatest horror movies ever made. A masterpiece.

From what I've seen...

1. 'Suspiria' [1977] - A+
2. 'Tenebre' [1982] - A-
3. 'Phenomena' [1985] - A-
4. 'The Card Player [2004] - B+
5. 'Jenifer' (Masters of Horror episode) [2005] - B-/C+
