Do I HAVE to buy a new controller or can i buy a new charge cable?

Go to best buy and get a USB cable that is large on one end and mini on the other. Thats all that it is. A new controller doesnt even come with a charge cable anyways

The cable you are looking for should be labled USB A to USB mini-B

They have these cables in the ps3 section at most retail stores. It's about $10. Also, the one from the store is a lot longer than the one that came with the ps3 out of the box.

Even if you bought a new controller, u'd be SOL.

The controllers dont come with a charger cable.

monoprice might carry these cables too for pretty cheap if you can wait to have it shipped to you.

Sheesh, I got so many damn USB cables its not even funny. All my motorola phones came with one. Every USB component that I bought for my PC/Laptop came with one.

Easiest and cheapest cable to come upon.

It's amazing that the cables Monoprice sells for $1.20 sell for $10 in local stores.

Still,... I explained all that to my step dad and when he needed a HDMI cable he still went to best buy and bought one for about $30. (It was the very same day that monoprice had that teal colored HDMI cable for ~$2 too!!!!)

Eventually... you realize ... some people are just simple fools and that's all there is to it.

You don't have ANY other mini-USB to USB cables? Every digital camera I had came with one, along with two MP3 players and who knows what else. Raid your computer cables.

Dude, quality does depend matter if the cable is more than 6ft more. Therefore, if your dad bought a cable 6 ft or more than it does MAKE a difference! Please don't feed me these digital 1 and 0 because it is true digital is digital but if the quality is BAD then it will never make it!!!!!
