Default Thinking Of Going Plasma.

I just got back from Sear's and I browseing the Plasma tv's and my eyes fixed on a 50inch Plasma Panasonic HD. A Samsung 46inch lcd was sitting right next to it and wow could I see the picture difference. The Plasma had really sharp crisp clean picture and was very colorful and the Samsung LCD looked good but not as good as Panasonics plasma picture. I struck up a conversation with the sales rep and she said this was the new Panasonic Vera Plasma with the 480hz feature and so fourth and she said for movie lovers Plasma is the way to go! Now the stories I heard about Plasma such as burn in and all that scares the crap out of me but she said not to worry because burn in is a thing of the past. She said that Panasonic Plasmas a very good HD tv's and very reliable and I shouldnt worry. They only wanted $899.00 for it and from what I saw it knocked me out picture wise. But before I take the Plasma plunge I need some advice from you guys on if I should or should not replace my Sony 46inch Bravia with a Panasonic Plasma. I am a movie lover and I hear that if thats the case then Plasma is the way to go plus it has the 480hx feature which looks great. So your comments guys would be very helpful. What should I do? Everyones comments are welcome because I have been bitten by the Plasma bug.
