Default I need a computer person please.

Which of these 2 video cards are better? This one or this one? and is there a huge difference between the 2?

The nVidia has a faster memory speed and is a better card, but the ATI is the better deal. How 'high-end' do you need to go? The ATI should be fine for all games, HD movies, etc and you'd pay half the price.

With the nVidia you could play games maxed out without a stutter, probably not so much with the ATI.

You can also find them cheaper elsewhere.

I edited my post. The ATI should be able to handle Warcraft at full speed and you'd save a lot of money.

atm ATI is better, Nvidia was doing awesome until they released the 9 series. 9 series chips would literally catch fire

either way, that Nvidia would be such overkill for WoW it wouldn't even be funny

check newegg on pricing, probably find a better deal there

The GTX260 is a much better card, but its also much more expensive. A 4670 is plenty for maxing WoW, but a 260 would have longer legs for other games.

At the moment, ATI and Nvidia are pretty much neck and neck in the video card race. ATI has a better overall offering for Multimedia functions and video accleration, but regarding gaming performance and gaming image quality, the differences are negligeble with comparable models.

Some motherboards have a hybrid-gpu capability with the ati card, which would make that card outperform the nvidia. The nvidia by itself is the better card, but the ati can outperform it under the right circumstances.
