Default Connecting Component Cables
A friend of mine just got some new component cables for a really cheap price and gave one to me. I currently have a DVD Player positioned under my Blu-ray player on my TV stand. The Blu-ray player is connected with HDMI, but my old DVD player is only connected with composite cables(red, white, and yellow). I would like to use the new cable on the DVD Player but have never used component cables before. Do I connect both the composite cable and the component cable to the DVD Player and TV? Yellow on composite is video right? Do I need that plugged in if I add the component cables?
