Default Speaker Pins... How do they work?

Hi, I have a problem. I bought these cables, and they won't arrive till Wednesday. After being told they don't work like banana plugs, I need to know how they do work. I've googled speaker pin connection and have found nothing. Here's an image of what they look like.

Please help! Thanks

Just put them into the hole when you unscrew the "Cap" on the receiver's connector..... and tighten..... I believe those are designed for that type of use, or for the "Spring loaded" clips..... they don't fit into the back of the screw-down connector of the receiver like banana plugs ( I don't believe)

Hard to tell from that picture... You'll have to unscrew, insert, and tighten the binding posts (caps I mentioned)

They work just like as if you were connecting pure speaker wire to them. Follow the diagram on your receiver/speakers.

Unscrew the cap a bit, put the pin through the hole, retighten.

If the connectors on the end of your cable look like this than you have banana plugs.

The pic you posted looks like banana plugs to me.

It's always been my understanding that the pins were meant primarily for this type of speaker wire connection.

The notches on the pin would seat securely in the spring clip.

They look like BNA Banana plugs, not pins. Just plug right into the back of your binding posts.
