Hi All,
I bought Sammy BDP-1000 last year, as a temporary unit, refurbished for less than 600$. One of those unites returned because movies sucked and the player was blamed. I'm happy so far, but soon I'll be upgrading TV from 61 to 70", and most definitely new TV will have 120hz input, so now I do need BD player with 24fps output. Which brings us the the question, is there any G2 player announced that could beat PS3 in PQ, functionality, loading speeds etc? In other words is PS3 still the best bet even for g2 players? So far I know about Samsung and Panny second generation players, PS3 looks like a winner, I mean with 1.80 firmware version. Sony BD-300 doesn't look like PS3 competitor either. So, what's left? I dunno any specs or rumors for Sony's hiend BD-500. Anyone else planing new players this year? Blah ![]() Last edited by Zvi; 05-30-2007 at 11:36 PM. |
