Pioneer VSX-01THX DTS Audio Problem ? - Blu-ray Forum

I have a Pioneer VSX-01 THX receiver with Pioneer BDP-51FD Blue Ray player and my problems is I can not get the receiver to play in DTS OR DTS HD audio the only thing on the display showup is Pro Logic.

DTS never shows up on the display I must have some setting wrong.

Can any one help please on the correct setting to play audio in DTS and DTS HD on the Pioneer VSX-01 THX receiver.

You are bitstreaming correct? If so, hit the Auto/Direct button on your remote so that direct shows on the screen. That should reset everything to receive just what the player is sending out with no post processing. The actual button has "HDD" on it.

I had the HDMI audio setting wrong and now after I corrected the setting I'm getting the DTS-HD sound now.
