Alright guys, IGN has CONFIRMED IT with 20th Century Fox. If the video wasn't enough for you.

They confirmed it with them, it will indeed be rated R.

I hope everyone that has pushed for this to receive an R rating will get out and support the film when it's released. It has been sad seeing movies such as Kick-Ass, Kick-Ass 2, Sin City 2, Dredd, and even to an extent Watchman struggle at the theater. This is probably the last chance comic book movie fans have of proving to the studios that an R rated comic book film can be successful. So when this is released if you have any interest in this movie at all don't wait for reviews, don't wait for what your buddy thought of it, don't wait for the blu ray. Get out and support the movie and the studios dedication to releasing this with the rating fans of the character have demanded.

I have every intention of seeing this opening night w/my buddies.

I've been playing the ps3 game and my wife laughs at it.....will probably take her to see it too.

then probably take a 1/2 day off work and go see it myself a 3rd time.

My god that was amazing and just goes to show that Reynolds is perfect for this role. So glad it's getting that R rating and I know I'll be seeing it multiple time opening weekend

Now for what will seem like an excruciating long wait.
