last month but I coudn't be there.

Any recommendations on Mallu Blu-Rays? I am considering picking up Bangalore Days, Amen, Ustad Hotel, and Drishyam. I wonder if Njan Steve Lopez will be released on Blu-Ray by December.

Saw Ustad Hotel on DVD, and it was a very okey-dokey film. Drishyam is more entertaining, even if the climax is way too overblown in its violence.

I saw Iyobinte Pustakam with English Sub-titles in a Mumbai multiplex yesterday...a little long (155 mins) but good film with some excellent camerawork (Director n Cinematographer r the same guy -> Amal Neerad) .. It was for the first time ever that I saw a Malayalam film in a multiplex .. Good period drama.. became a fan of Fahadh Faasil

This film would look great on blu-ray and I would definitely buy it ... keep me posted here .. has anyone else seen it? How is it faring at the box office down there in Kerala? I was perhaps the only Non - Malayali guy in the cinema hall

^It's a table that gives very little information. What is the basis on which a blu-ray's worthiness is decided - the quality of the film or the technical quality of the blu-ray? How does it distinguish between a good blu-ray of a crap film and a crap blu-ray of a good film?

Watched Life Of Josutty from Big Cinemas today. The locations and visuals are brilliant, Wish to see it onb Blu Ray. As Eros International has produced it, expecting a Blu Ray from them

Then there's an even better chance for a BD release for ENM... Seeing that the film was released with Atmos audio, they could make this one the first malayalam atmos BD too... let's hope that happens.

Both ENM and LOJ rights with Central. As EE was not break even, don't expect any more BDs from Central
