From what I've read, there's some Deadwood. That's better than anything ladies are going to see in other movies this Valentines Day. Perfect date movie.

Won't say. it's fun, and I don't really want to spoil it. Apparently, it's not complete in what we saw either, and it'll have an extra surprise once it's released next month.

Just say does it have anything to do with X-Men? or is it contained within the Deadpool Universe?

is it just him talking to the screen? Hopefully its a set up for future stuff.

Hmm, interesting. I wasn't amused by what I saw last year. Thought it was one huge missed opportunity.

My wife:

" I really want to see Deadpool, but I wasn't exactly expecting to see it on Valentines day."

Finally, a movie that I'm anticipating on the forced holiday.

I think fans are really going to love it, and I think audiences will enjoy it too, even if they aren't familiar with the character. This one could have Kingsman legs, as long as WoM is there.

Also, stay for the post credit scene.

It falls to the middle of my rankings of the overall series:
  • Days of Future Past (Rogue Cut)
  • X2
  • The Wolverine (Unrated)
  • Deadpool
  • First Class
  • X-Men
  • The Last Stand
  • Origins
So it's confirmed to be a part of the of the other X-Men films. The Colossus recast had me unsure.

It was always a part. It's set in the new timeline. It's very much set in the established X-Men films.

I usually agree with Walt, and I respect his opinion quite a bit (Captain Kirk, long time member here) so if he says it's good, it's gonna be good. Can't wait!

P.S. So mad at everyone who got to see the complete film already! They can all group themselves into the same category that I mentioned above... but, for totally different reasons!

So Im guessing Deadpool will be grouped into the respectable fun R-rated comic movie group with Kick-Ass and Kingsmen.

My only problem with 2016's "Deadpool" is that it may lack any type of drama and seriousness. I just hope it's not just one-liners, cool action scenes and self-conscious/self-absorbed humor. I want more.

Other than that, I truly hope it fits in my huge continuity scenario, and I'm ready to revise my website.

X 2 and Days of Future Past are awful so i sincerely hope it's not weaker than those.

Unless it has ties to X-men in some meaningful way, not sure how you're ranking them against each other but I guess to each is own.

I don't know why hes even comparing them to X-men movies, so I'd take that list with a grain of salt.

Maybe he'll compare suicide squad to the Nolan Batman trilogy since its all "batman universe" lol

"That means there's lots of action, lots of comedy, and some brutal, brutal violence. There's also a decent bit of nudity and sex (Ryan Reynolds spends a good portion of two entire scenes naked), and one big surprise: heart.

Yes, the lamest of the Planeteers powers is very present in this film, and it gives the movie a much-needed center. When everything goes to hell, when there's over-the-top insanity, or when there's a little dip in the plot that may come too easy, the heart behind everything kicks in and brings you back to Earth. In recent years, writers like Rick Remender and Gerry Duggan have given Deadpool comic books that little something extra, a character you can laugh at and be wowed by, but that you also care about. The movie does that, too, and it doesn't come off as ham-fisted or forced at all."

Deadpool Movie Review: Hilarious, Action-Packed, Undeniably Deadpool

Sounds like there's a pretty big human element to the film.

Because they take place in the same universe. It's tied to the X-Men series by continuity, and some stuff in the film. The most obvious being Colossus being in it. It's the same way people rank the MCU movies because they're all one franchise. I wouldn't rank Nolan's and compare to Suicide Squad because it has no ties to that film, but I would rank it with Man of Steel and Batman v. Superman, because they're in the same continuity.

[Show spoiler]to Deadpool in the middle of a fight with X-Men and Apoc, Deadpool is being controlled by Apoc as a hidden horseman but isn't in full costume. After Mystique pushes Jean out of the way of Apocs attack, Deadpool shows up beside her and kills her with his swords.
