Mine indulges me. And if enough folks are talking about a thing, she'll participate. We just watched Stanger Things and she loved it. But generally, she'll let me do my thing with an occasional 'Oh, Jesus' from the other room when she overhears something particularly nerdy.

Pretty much. Mine will surf her phone while I watch pretty much anything, but she'll poke her head up occasionally with comments like "how can you watch this shit?" Of course I say the same thing about Teen Mom, so we're even. Usually I am in my man cave alone with headphones when watching movies though.

That reminds of a question I've had for years--

Did Palpatine ALWAYS look like that but was constantly using his Force powers to "cloud men's minds," or did the fight with Mace Windu actually screw up his features? Or was he a shape-shifter who just couldn't be bothered anymore?

Upscaled the '04 edition of the Empire dvd the other day, and it wasn't too shabby. How much would I kick myself for upgrading, given that the same master was used to create the blu-rays...and the last round of alterations had my gorge rising?

I believe it's intended that Mace screws up Palpatines face in that duel.

Disappointing to me because I always loved the idea of Palpatine getting more and more shriveled as he delves deeper into the dark side. His inner darkness coming through to the surface so to speak.
