After returning the Samsung player I later returned the JS9500 and bought a 4k OLED. The 4k oled does UHD too but I already returned the player so I have not watched any UHD on it, although I have heard it is also quite good at it. The JS9500 supposedly got brighter though in HDR mode. The 4k OLED was a HUGE improvement. Normal HD can feel like a big upgrade on it. Some 3D titles 'feel' like HDR with perfect black accentuating everything realistically.
