Pirates 3 VS Battlestar

Sorry, the new BSG is one of the best shows on television and among the best sci-fi ever done. The original show was a cheesy Star Wars rip off. It is embarrassingly bad to watch now. Best show on TV.

Except Glen Larson was shopping it around back in 1972, as was proved in court. Lucas lost.

The new Battlestar is terrific. I never watched the old show, but from the videos I have seen it looks cheesey and doesn't incorporate politics and current issues nearly as much as the new one (suicide bombings, abortion, etc).

All they do is look at the paper and then beat you over the head with it "LOOK HOW CONTEMPORARY WE'RE BEING!!! *WHAM WHAM* WE'RE DOING ABU GHRAIB CAN'T YOU TELL??*WHAM WHAM*

Before anyone says anything, I've seen every episode. Moore has no clue where he's going, and judging by the 45min I sat through at San Diego Comic Con before being denied my chance to confront him, more interested in which characters bang each other and how much he hates the original than anything else.

Even Roddenberry was more subtle with the half black/half white face people,and Riker with the androgynous pod person on TNG.
