I was ready to pick up a 58" Samsung plasma B860 and then saw the 55" Samsung 8000 LED LCD. It looked more vibrant than the plasma and was sold on it. I was getting more info on it and found out the the 8500 series will be out later this month and it will have local dimming plus a few other improvements. Looking forward to checking this set out very soon.
