Has anyone heard or seen one of these? I've heard of OLED, but never heard of just plain LED TVs. I received a junk mail supplement from StansburyAV (never heard of them before) which showed a 46 inch LEDTV for $2,300. Looked pretty interesting. The TV is 1.2" deep and displays a 3,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio and Auto Motion Plus 120Hz.
Any thoughts on this technology? Last edited by SillyMammo; 06-07-2009 at 01:02 PM. |

4 HDMI connectors but only one component and composite so you need a switcher box if you have older units with no HDMI output . |

Are you talking about the Sammy 7000 "Edge lit" LCD - LED (thats what I'm guessing)? $2,300 seems steep for a 46" model... It depends what country your in though?

Great TV, i have the 6000 series and think it was a good buy. I dont mind that it has mostly HDMI inputs as I have no gear that would ever use a composite cable. The pic is fantastic and I have only used some settings I found online, I could only imagine how this thing would look calibrated...
