![]() OP - I understand your pain. When my new Panasonic 50" arrive in January, it was pristine! A week later, I notice hairline scratches on the coating of the glass. Not in the glass itself. They were so small, the only way to see them is from the side and about an inch from the set. Not sure how I noticed before but I did. Suffice to say I was kinda pissed. It was one of my cat's using it as a climbing post. Lol. I quickly remided the situation by cutting out the box it came in and making a "cover" for the tv. So, I have a cardboard cover with padding on the inside (from the packing materials) that I hang on the tv anytime it's not in use. Sounds crazy.. But you should see the cover. Lots of scratches. The kitties know not to climb on it now, but I still want it covered just in case. Ignore it and continue on with life. Anything you do to try and "fix it" (which is not possible), will result in more damage. |
