Just finished reading blu-ray.com's review. Excellent job. Really looking forward to Friday. I expect to see the return of Ken Kraley at any moment.

It's a matter of taste, my friend. I'm simply in the fortunate position that Lucas has a similar taste in film and art as me and I can enjoy the movies for what they are and not what I wish them to be. Jar Jar is a classic Star Wars character to me, an archetype just as Han Solo, Yoda or Chewbacca were. When I first heard about the "NOOO" change (without knowing about the hysteria it unleashed) I was pleasantly surprised. It adds so much more depth and honesty to the scene.

WOW lol

It was just his OPINION he was not trying to change minds or give people false information he was only stating how he felt about the movies. If people changed their minds after reading his take on the movies and they ordered them then that is their prerogative and being that the Blu-ray.com review as very close to his own opinion he wasn't leading people in a radically different direction. You really need to get over yourself and just chill and enjoy or don't enjoy the films just stop bashing someone because he gave a review that did not aline with your views.

Planetaxel.com lists swedish subtitles in addition to those mentioned in the review. Are there swedish subtitles?

By the way, didn't casey call the ROTS reference. Damn me and my apologist stance. I just love George Lucas so much, so very much, he cured cancer don't you know.
I definitely am not a Lucas Apologist I do not like the changes he made in the movies for the most part but I am still a Star Wars fan and I am not giving up a chance to own and see my favorite movie of all time 'Empire' in Hi-Def!

I expected it! On DVD Attack Of The Clone was the worst looking one, for me anyway, not surprise it did not upgrade to well on Blu-ray

Still I really like the review, cannot wait to put my hands on this set Friday morning

The Menus on the feature discs are simplistec, yet beautifull. The music that plays in the background is great (taken from the score of each film)

It's funny, because the menus seem like they were made for a 3D release if you know what I mean, as if they were inteded to pop out of the screen like holograms. Maybe Goerge is already looking towards the future, even though we might not get all films in 3D theatricaly, we most likely would see them on a home video release, and these menus would suite 3D to a T.

I and just about everybody else liked the grunt because thats what its always been but I could at least live with the new NOOOO when he picks him up.
There are 2 "No's" in the actual BD release

I thought the image was a bit weird at the cinema as well, which I understood coule be put down to GL pushing the technical envelope again (good on him!) and the technology being not quite up to his expectations yet.

I bet in hindsight he regrets softening the image as he shot it!

I am no Internet expert like som many here but I recall he was using new types of camera for filming it back in 2000-01. And you are right yes in in theaters the image did not look as great as one would expect.

Like I said, not so surprise it did not come out as good on Blu-ray as the others.
