jedi's are prejudice and seem to care only for themselves. they took anakin as a kid to benefit them but left his mom to die a slave. jedi's got what they deserved and i hope the remaining ones are wiped out in the new movies. just like how they try to wipe out the Sith.

Beats me. I have no real idea what did or didn't transpire in the thirty years between Jedi and the new film.

She could have been studying with Luke. She could have been studying with Obi-wan. She could have been studying with *awkward* the guy who basically killed her mom and blew up her adoptive planet. She could have gone to Currasant digging around for surviving Jedi archives or the like.

Who knows.

Going back to the massive amounts of subterfuge he came up with in the lead up to Trek2 with Khan I wouldn't be surprised if this is simply an orchestrated smokescreen on his part. He seems to enjoy being clever and pulling one on fanboys and the like.

There was a reason he had the cough. It was explained in the CW series. His fight with Mace was the reason for the cough.

Which was a bit of a retcon: the character has a cough in the movie, so the cartoon gave a reason for it to be there.

The cartoon came first, it also led directly into the opening scenes of Revenge of the Sith. It aired in March 2005, with Episode III premiering in May, later that year.

I'm fairly certain that the 2D cartoon was only built around some early design works/early drafts of the movie. The real reason why Greivous coughs is to highlight the imperfections of his full cyborg body. And since the original cartoon is no longer canon, the point remains.

That's only a two month span of time, while ROTS was finishing up post-production and the character's depiction was finished and publicly known, and it was a retcon (of sorts) because it functioned as an explanation for the existence of his cough between the film and his first appearance a year before in April 2004.

That comes off as really missing the point, if not outright trying to paint the Jedi as worse villains than the Sith.

Sorry calling BS on this. The audience did not know that in 2005 therefore can not be an excuse. I just love when they say this or that can be explained away with CW or the EU universe. It was a silly character that had no business being in the film.

i don't see the Sith as villains. look, in the prequels there's probably hundreds of jedi and 2 Sith. yet yoda feels the need for 'the chosen one' to bring balance to the force lol. hundreds vs 2 but it won't be balanced until the 2 are killed! the jedi's are weak but come on.

then when Maul is discovered, (he attacks Qui gon but Qui gon runs because it wasn't 2 jedi vs 1 Sith), the jedi want to kill the Sith because heaven forbid a Sith should exist. so yeah, anytime hundreds of people feel it necessary to destroy 2 people, i would say the group with the hundreds are villains.
