Default crossover frequency on bic h 100

what should i set it to? my reciever is set to 100.

set it to the same (or higher if you like... wont make a difference)

Your receiver takes precedence, so it doesn't matter what you set the sub to. Try adjusting the frequency on your receiver (80-120 hz) and see what sounds best to you. The manufacturer told me it's best set at 80 hz, but YMMV.

80Hz is actually the THX recommended setting... but never set your crossover lower on the sub than on the receiver

Read A Guide to Subwoofers. Go to the bottom of the page. There is a section on crossover frequency.
