PS3 periodoc white noise issue
Hello, I have a 60 gb PS3 that recently started to display a sec or 2 of white noise when watching movies or playing games and when the XMB is displayed. I have it hooked up via HDMI and bought a new cable and it did the same thing - so its not the cable. This happens every couple of hours or so and lasts for about 2 secs at the most before it goes back to the movie or game. The audio still plays during these quick white noise displays. Does anyone think the recovery mode menu or reformatting the hard drive would help? Or could corrupt data saves from games or anything else be causing this? Its just annoying and hope its something simple.
