the best way to make money is to earn money.. so why not release them on blu, dvd and vhs.. why do companies and investments.. man these guys are all about the money. eventually i would like for these to be released as single Blu-Ray's.. but i would like to get the set sometime soon.. most likely next month for sure.

The original trilogy could have used a new 4K master but looks good. Attack of the Clones has a slight teal shift and is a bit soft due to the camera used (an early digital HD camera). The Phantom Menace has had DNR applied, which has removed detail (though it varies throughout the movie). Still, since the original TPM DVD was so bad it has improved the most of all 6 movies from DVD to Blu ray.

i watched a new hope and empire strikes back over the last few days and i have to say i was impressed. new hope looked better then ive ever seen it. PQ and AQ were simply fantastic.

empire was quality too although i thought it was a little inconsistant at times. maybe it is all the ice in the first half that just made it seem to me like it didnt look as good. the 2nd half of the film was mind blowing. the luke vader fight never looked or sounded as good.

im sure ill watch jedi in the next couple days but seeing how its my least favorite of all the star wars movies (im weird like that, TPM is my favorite of the PT) i feel like ive already gotten my movies worth.

i will be picking up the PT after seeing these even though everyone says it has its ups and downs. i should have just got the whole saga

ok so i watched return of the jedi last night and it was fantastic. i thought the PQ on jedi was the best of the OT with a new hope a very close 2nd. maybe the visuals in the movie were just a little better. the emperor looked down right wicked.

i havent seen jedi for a very long time. so long in fact that when the song and dance sequence started in jabbas palace i burst out laughing. i couldnt believe how terrible that was. im not one to get offended by the changes lucas makes to the star wars films but that was an offense to my eye balls. it did kind of fall into the so bad it was good category for me though.

i did get the prequel trilogy yesterday and i watched about 20 minutes of it before i fell asleep and i have to say the PQ was kind of a let down compared to the OT.

everyone says revenge of the sith is supposed to be fantastic so i will work my way there but it would have been nice to have a decent copy of episode one considering its my favorite of the PT.

The prequel trilogy was a bit of a let down in terms of PQ with The Phantom Menace. It could and should have looked better, over DNR, I believe. Attack of the Clones fares better, and as others have said, ROTS is absolutely fantastic.
