Arrow Herbie Goes to Monte Carlo --- DMC Exclusive

Disney is releasing Herbie Goes to Monte Carlo on Blu-ray, for the first time, exclusive to Disney Movie Club members.
(this last point is not up for debate it's labeled an EXCLUSIVE and is just that; so people who've never joined DMC or know nothing about it will come in and tell you you'll be able to get it in stores in 6 months...and you'll be stuck waiting just FYI)

In conjunction with this release, DMC is also releasing another exclusive: Herbie Goes Bananas

For information on how it works, check out the first few posts of the
Disney Movie Club Official thread

If a DMC member, the information for it is:
$24.95
ID:

Releasing June 30th, 2015

I forgot about Old Yeller and Pollyanna, DMC has been kinda slow adding these as online enrollments. I think I might as well buy all 10 up to these with a VIP offer when they're avalable, I don't feel like waiting until I can scoop up 7 as enrollments at this point.

I placed an order on the morning of the 23rd and they weren't on there yet. I've got my next monthly selection to order though so they are on now?

I vaguely remember these films, they always seemed to be the lesser of the Herbie movies, as well as the Lohan abomination. I remember the tv-movie remake of the Love Bug was better than these.

What is everyone else consensus regarding these two films. Out of all of live-action movies to choose from I don't know why they would pick these two before the Haley Mills films, Jodie Foster films, the rest of the Dexter Riley trilogy, the Absent Minded Professor and sequel, and the Merlin Jones movies. The list goes on an on.

I really would love to get the North Avenue Irregulars soon. I still crack up at the image of Cloris Leachman driving in the all out auto chase and holding her cracked nails to view while screaming and ramming her car into everyone. She is such a great comedic actress.

I'm happy to have first three on BR, but I'll be skipping [Herbie Goes Bananas]*. Truly awful film IMHO.

That said, I'm tremendously excited by the fact that they are putting [Herbie Goes Bananas]* on BR. If THAT is eligible for a release, that essentially means that ANY of their live action films are on the table for a release, not just the AAA titles like some of the ones you mentioned. I'm feeling increasingly optimistic that we'll see the majority of their classic feature films on BR and I'll buy 95% of 'em, barebones or not.

*Corrected the title to the one I really meant. Herbie Goes to Monte Carlo is great.

Thanks, that makes it an easy pass for me at the moment. I like to pick them up as soon as possible to get a slip but no slips means I will wait and just add them on a later order where i can get a better deal.

well at least Disney is still releasing these exclusives.
that means there's still hope for 20,000 Leagues under the sea and the original Parent Trap.
those two are obviously beyond critical, and I was almost convinced Disney had given up on this series already.
so great news, even though personally I don't care about the later Herbie films.

I would think 20,000 Leagues would be a mainstream release. Hopefully it is coming. It is my most wanted Disney title.

Looks like the DMC is liquidating some copies of the DMC exclusive of Herbie Goes to Monte Carlo.

Nothing like glancing back a post from six years ago and seeing that you wrote the wrong title... twice.

I still think Herbie Goes Bananas is an unfunny mess, but Herbie Goes to Monte Carlo has always rocked! Apologies for six years of confusion.
