Arrow Herbie Goes Bananas: 35th Anniversary Edition --- DMC EXCLUSIVE

Disney is releasing Herbie Goes Banana on Blu-ray in celebration of it's 35th Anniversary, for the first time, exclusive to Disney Movie Club members.
(this last point is not up for debate it's labeled an EXCLUSIVE and is just that; so people who've never joined DMC or know nothing about it will come in and tell you you'll be able to get it in stores in 6 months...and you'll be stuck waiting just FYI)

In conjunction with this release, DMC is also releasing another exclusive: Herbie Goes to Monte Carlo

For information on how it works, check out the first few posts of the
Disney Movie Club Official thread

If a DMC member, the information for it is:
$24.95
ID:

Releasing June 30th, 2015

Wonder if they'll be slipless like the last two... Time will tell.

wish Disney would announce The Parent Trap and, of course, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.
I would be pretty satisfied at that point that at least they got a few of their main live action classics out on bd.
Not nearly enough, but most of the main biggies at least.

Herbie Goes Bananas is terrible. TERRIBLE. Glad Disney is plowing through the garbage now so we can get films worth their effort in the future.

My thought is they're ironing out the kinks on lesser so stuff so The Boatniks can be flawless, ha ha.

Any news on future classic live action DMC exclusives. I've already picked up Return to Oz, Old Yeller, The Love Bug, The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes, Swiss Family Robinson, and The Apple Dumpling Gang.

Since a lot of these seemed to be tied in with some kind of anniversary 55th, 50th, 45th, 40th, (some multiple of 5)... My Guess they could be for 2016 if they still put out these DMC blu-ray exclusives:

The Parent Trap (1961)-55th anniversary
The Absent Minded Professor (1961)-55th anniversary
The Barefoot Executive (1971)-45th anniversary
Gus (1976)-40th anniversary
Freaky Friday (1976)-40th aniversary
Condorman (1981)-35th anniversary
Dragonslayer (1981)-35th anniversary
Flight of the Navigator-30th anniversary

And I guess Witch Mountain making it out next (possibly this year) makes sense in this weird release scheme since it came out in 1975 (now it's the 40th anniversary!!!).

Back in the early 90s the local ABC affiliate played live action Disney films on Sunday mornings before Robert Schuller's Hour of Power: I swear they must've run Herbie Goes Bananas virtually once a month. As a kid I grew to loathe that little Paco twerp and his "ocho" crap.

I saw it as a kid in the theater and hated it (which is saying something, 'cause I even liked The Last Flight of Noah's Ark and The Cat From Outer Space).

this bd appears to have been deleted already according to the bd page on the DMC exclusives website.
Herbie Goes to Monte Carlo also OOP already.

haven't heard anything different. just saw it no longer was on the page at the website, and assumed it was OOP.
I mean why have an exclusives bd page if you don't show all available titles??
sorry, I don't get it I guess.
