Default Eh, maybe.

If DMC had just made this and Return From into a nice Double Feature (for an extra $5), I'd have bit on it no questions asked. As it stands now, I'll probably contemplate Escape To and likely pass on the sequel. Of course, the same goes for all the Herbie movies for me. Let's kick out some common sense Multi-Feature sets, DMC!!

While we're discussing new (vintage) live-action DMC exclusives, I'm going to put out another ardent request for Watcher in the Woods too! Pretty please, with sugar on top...?

Wait so you have to join a columbia house like Disney club to get this title? If so that is lame. I expect to see a lot of scalpers for these titles.

No it's nothing like Columbia house, much easier and straight-forward.

Read the first three posts in linked thread. It's self explanatory from there

This is one I'd consider purchasing, but the question is, are any of the bonus features from the DVD going to be included? If it's anything like Disney's other catalogue blu-ray releases, probably not.

So many great DMC exclusives! I remember watching this one a lot when I was little, so this will be a pick up for sure

Mega dittos. We actually Netflixed the DVD a while back and my kids actually enjoyed it. Sure, its a little chintzy at times but so charming.

Not sure if Ill but it or not but its good to see it being released nonetheless

Question: Is this title not available to select when signing up? Do you have to already be a member to see it or is it just not a part of the 5 for $1.

According to their 'Terms and Conditions' its exactly like Columbia house. Titles for free by agreeing to buy other titles and having to tell them every month if you want a 'featured title' or they ship it to you.

Newer titles usually can't be included in this (at least the 5 for $1, I think if you add a 6th or 7th disc you might be able to, if they actually have this dic up on their site now). Not sure if you want any of the other exclusives, but I'm preaty sure they are all eligible for the 5 for $1 deal.

Looks like it can't be ordered/pre-ordered yet. If you wait a few months after it is released, you could probably include it in the 5 for 1 buck deal, plus maybe by that point they will have released or announced more exclusive titles that you may want that would make signing up for the Disney Movie Club worth it.

So far I've gotten six of the exclusive titles and 4 titles that I was planning on getting at some point anyway for around 90 bucks and only have one more Commitment title to go. I think it's a good deal or break even if you actually want the exclusive, because they go for a lot on Amazon, Ebay, etc... Buying 2 or 3 of the exclusives on one of those sites would've been more than what I've payed for 10 titles thus far. But I guess the big thing is if you want the exclusive titles. If you don't, it's not worth your time, unless you are planning on selling them.

If they aren't getting regular blu-ray releases, I hope Treasure Island, Darby O'Gill, The Black Hole, Freaky Friday, and Watcher in the Woods make it out through this program.
